Pet Stain Removal Process
1. We identify the pet stains using an ultraviolet light that can identify stains not visible with our eyes.
2. Next, we pre-treat the stains with a solution to neutralize the pH of the urine.
3. Then, we rinse and extract the spot using our machine.
4. After, we will apply a specialized stain removal product to any remaining stain that would not clean out. Over the next 24 hours after the cleaning, the product will usually make the stain disappear as it dries.
Pet Stain and Odor Removal Questions
Can you remove all pet stains?
Usually but there are other factors that determine the success rate of removing yellow, brown or red pet stains from carpet and fabric. This depends on the type of fiber, previous attempts of removal and the severity of the stain or odor.
Can your standard cleaning remove the pet stains and odor?
No. Cleaning might remove stains, but removing pet urine & odor is a different process from cleaning & removing the visible stains. If the sources are not treated, the odor will remain and can even get temporarily worse from the moisture of cleaning "reactivating" the urine.
Will the deodorizer remove the pet odor?
Some companies will apply a deodorizer to the carpet surface, however, this is a temporary fix and is simply masking or covering up the bad smell. Our process actually removes the source of the bad odor. For example, after a hard workout at the gym, you may be sweaty and stinky. You could put some cologne or perfume on to cover up the smell, or you could take a shower and remove the source of the odor so you are clean and fresh.
