Our Process
1. Pre-Inspection
This is an important step in the carpet cleaning process. We will inspect your carpet to determine the condition and any concerns. We will set your expectations for the results of the cleaning. We will ask you about the cause of any spots or stains to help us choose the right cleaning solution to remove it. We will also look for preexisting damage to your carpet, such as spots that are worn out, yarn runs or pulls, bad seams, or color loss.
2. Pre-Treatment & Corner Protection
We will apply a pre-treatment solution to the carpet that will break up the soil, making it easier to clean, which will provide better results! We offer our standard cleaning solutions and we also offer pet, children & environmentally friendly options as well! The choice is yours! This is where we will apply corner guards to protect your walls!
3. Spot Removal
Some spots or stains will need extra attention. Complete Carpet Care is experienced and trained in using a variety of spot removal solutions!
4. Cleaning
Our carpet cleaning machine is mounted inside our van! We use hot water, strong pressure with a strong vacuum, which all make a better clean! The water is combined with our rinse solution and then we use a floor cleaning tool to apply the rinse solution to the carpet. Then we extract the pre-treatment solution along with dirt, germs, pet hair & dander, allergens, and anything else in your carpet back into a separate wastewater tank in our van. We will make cleaning strokes, followed by several vacuum strokes over the same pass to ensure a thorough cleaning while absorbing as much water as possible to speed up dry time. While many companies can use similar equipment as Complete Carpet Care, we are confident that none of them are as thorough or as detailed! The cleaning technique and the patience of the technician play a large role in the final results of the cleaning. We choose results over speed!
5. Furniture Protection
Depending on the type of furniture, we can apply blocks underneath them to protect your freshly cleaned carpet!
6. Drying
Worried about dry time? Depending on the level of soil, our dry time is usually between 2-4 hours and will never be left soaked! We can use our portable fans while we clean to begin drying immediately! Just ask ahead of time! To help dry time even more, you can adjust your heating & air, furnace fan, ceiling fans, or use any portable fans you have!
